Project Gender-Based Violence Prevention Programme — Implementation Scope: (8) governorates in the Arab Republic of Egypt
Main Duty Station Foundation Headquarters, Fifth Settlement (New Cairo) – with frequent field travel to the targeted governorates
Contract Type Full-time (fixed-term contract – 8 months) contingent upon project funding availability

About the Position

Haya Karima Foundation is seeking a competent and experienced Field Officer to support the field implementation of programme activities and ensure the quality of outputs in the targeted governorates.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate field activities and follow up on their daily implementation according to the project timeline.
  • Support community engagement initiatives and facilitate awareness sessions and training programmes for target groups.
  • Directly supervise and guide field volunteers to ensure efficient performance at field sites.
  • Actively contribute to monitoring programme indicators, documenting activities, and preparing periodic technical and field reports.

Application Requirements and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development, or any related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in development work with NGOs, UN agencies, or international entities.
  • Prior specialized experience in GBV, FGM, women’s empowerment and protection, or public health and community development.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and workshop facilitation skills, in addition to technical report-writing skills in Arabic and English.
