About the Position
Are you an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in grants accounting, donor compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial management of donor-funded projects?
Join Haya Karima Foundation and play a key role in strengthening the financial management of our donor-funded portfolio, ensuring sound financial controls, donor compliance, accurate reporting, and effective utilization of grant resources.
Haya Karima Foundation is looking for a Grants Accounting Senior Specialist to provide organization-wide financial oversight and quality assurance across all donor-funded projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead financial management throughout the full grant lifecycle, from proposal budgeting and financial planning through implementation, reporting, audits, budget revisions, donor negotiations, and project close-out.
- Serve as a key financial focal point for donors.
- Provide technical leadership and capacity building to project-based Grants Accountants across the Foundation.
- Strengthen financial controls, donor compliance, accurate reporting, and effective utilization of grant resources across the donor-funded portfolio.
Application Requirements and Experience
- Strong expertise in grants accounting and financial management of donor-funded projects.
- Experience in donor compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ability to strengthen financial controls and ensure accurate reporting and effective utilization of grant resources.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and capacity building to project finance and grants accounting teams.
