About the Position
Haya Karima Foundation is seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Specialist to join Haya Complex and contribute to rehabilitation and skill development services for beneficiaries, particularly children, as part of a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of beneficiaries' rehabilitative needs and capabilities.
- Assess functional, skill, and psychological capacities in children.
- Design and implement individual and group rehabilitation programs.
- Run age-appropriate skill development activities tailored to each case.
- Contribute to sensory integration, speech therapy, skill development, and occupational therapy programs per specialty and training.
- Track beneficiary progress and measure intervention effectiveness.
- Develop and update rehabilitation plans, documenting sessions and progress reports.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapeutic team and maintain strict data confidentiality.
Application Requirements and Experience
- University degree in Special Education, Disability Sciences, or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
- Postgraduate studies or advanced training courses in rehabilitation and skill development are preferred.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in rehabilitation and working with children.
- Experience in designing/implementing rehabilitation programs and evaluating children's functional, skill, and psychological capabilities.
- Strong capability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.
